NASA astronaut and engineer Christina Koch serves as a mission specialist on Artemis II. She previously set the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman, spending 328 days aboard the International Space Station in 2019 and 2020, and took part in the first all-female spacewalk. On Artemis II, Koch became the first woman to travel beyond low Earth orbit.
